About Me
I am a postdoctoral fellow at Carnegie Science, based at Caltech in Pasadena. I completed my Ph.D. in Chemical Oceanography at Florida State University in 2024.
My research focuses on understanding nutrient and organic matter cycles in the ocean, and I am both an observational oceanographer and a modeler. I analyze dissolved organic nutrient concentrations in the seawater samples collected around the world, describe their distributions and the mechanisms that drive these patterns. In addition, I am developing new modeling frameworks that incorporate microbial processes to explore the microbial mechanisms that shape the distribution of geochemical tracers in the sea.
